Surely, you all saw this coming? Right? If you didn't, my job is done here and I can retire now.
We will be wrapping up this story arc next week. Good thing too. This has been the longest arc I've done so far. It has spanned close to three months with 26 strips as of right now. But let's be honest here. If this strip was a standard 6 dailies and Sunday comic strip, it would only equate to a little over 3 weeks worth of material. But, I've managed to get this story out and now you know another back story.
And in other news, in just two short weeks I will have hit another milestone. My 200th strip. More on that when that time comes.
Until then, see you Monday. And don't forget to tell your friends about Flatt Bear.

Now, had it said “flappy beard logs”, I could see this being an issue, but for Duff, this is pretty darn close to being right! [smirk]

Yeah. I think he’s got some insight.

He was close, so so close. Missed it by (( that )) much. Maybe Duffy could do a sign for the Rover while he’s there.
p.j.
Maybe he can get that one right.

As long as NASA ain’t too fussy about how Rover is spelt

And if Duffy goes to Mars, and even bigger milestone!

Duffy the Mars bear. Got a nice ring to it.

Thanks Bill.

Perhaps Jupiter? It’s a bit further away…
p.j.
that’s funny. I almost had Duffy saying Jupiter. changed it, for some reason, at the last minute to Mars.

Mars is way overcrowded, anyway!

Especially with all those rovers roaming around up there.
Pirate Mike
There’s a reason the rover went there.
p.j.
to search for the other bears?
Pirate Mike
Yes!
p.j.
That’s funny. I can just picture a whole fleet of bears just sort of roaming around up there looking for things to do.

Flat bear is a mighty hero who fights crime with his 2D powers.

what a superpower that is.

LOL At least he spelled his own name correctly 🙂 Yeah, it has been a long story, but it’s been Quality Work!! So the quantity never mattered. 😀
Mars? – I guess The Moon was too close? The bear will get it right someday, but then, we’ll have nothing to laugh at 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
p.j.
True. If he did things right, there would be no story.

I’ve heard of “Pigs in Space”, but never bears…
p.j.
Oh you will.
Doc Kenny
I didn’t see it at all
But now it makes sense
