Anger Bear
Is Shepard’s Pie not the most perfect meal ever invented? Come on, it has everything one needs to sustain life. Meat in a gravy, carrots and green beans. And all these gorgeous ingredients blanketed with a healthy heap of mashed potatoes and topped with cheese. I always over indulge and wind up with Shepard’s Pie belly. Totally worth it.
Brilliant! Thanks UK!!!!
Shepherd comes form the words Sheep and Herd, one P no A.
Huh. Well lookey there. Never even noticed that. Nice catch mate!
Two words… Soylent Green…
Yes! Great reference Mark!!!!
The truth always hurts.
Yes it does.
I do not like eating a shepherds pie. I do not like it with chunks of meat, I do not even like it with chicken feet, I do not like it warm on a plate, or having to share it with a ravenous date… [oink] I do not like shepherds pie, Duffy- honestly, I’ve tried!
Ok Dr. Seuss. You are relieved of any obligation to eat Shepard’s pie.
If you want it done right you’ll have to make it yourself!
I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near him when he’s shopping for ingredients for this dish.
Shepherd’s pie is a favorite dish of mine, too! And I’m glad there are no real shepherds in there!
But the perfect food for me is a premium cheeseburger. Not the fast-food type but real ones!
I think even if there were real Shepherds in it, I would still consider it… Does that make it wrong?
Make sure there’s a support group ready when he reads the ingredients to Girl Scout Cookies!
Even more of a disappointment I’m sure. Rage bear.
…or animal crackers.
Ooo, another good one. I’ll have to save these for later.
Haha! I guess it depends on the chef!
Apparently we don’t want Duffy in the kitchen then.
LOL I hope he doesn’t get this upset when he finds out there are no actual Girl Scouts in Girl Scout Cookies.. 😀 😀 Good one, P.J.!!!!!!! 🙂
What’s funny is the Girl Scout thing had crossed my mind but I thought it would be a little too dark even for Duff. See, you should be writing comic strips yourself. 😉
LOL Too funny!! I wouldn’t even try to draw comics… But I’m good at funny stories. 🙂
That’s like having no spaghetti in spaghetti bolognaise. Outrageous!!!. My wife makes an awesome shepherd’s pie & like you PJ i have trouble stopping when I’ve had enough..
Not familiar with this dish. Spaghetti bolognaise must be an Aussie dish. That Sheppard’s pie is good stuff though.
