Shore Enough
This one was a challenge. I knew where I wanted to go with this part of the story line for months. But when I was finally got the opportunity to actually write the strip, I had no idea how to go about the dialog. I was literally re-writing the dialog as I was inking it.
Yeah, I work with a five minute buffer… Sometimes.
And nobody knew that Carl spent some of Duffy’s money on a University degree in accounting
I tend to work like this too. I usually have a rough idea of my storyline but most is made up as I go along.
Sometimes I bring about comic genius this way, others times I bring about frustration and comic destruction.
Call it a handlers fee.
Carl is amazing! Can you do my finances, Carl?
Mine too.
A five minute buffer for me results in a blank page. You sir are a “Jedi”‘in my book. 🙂
LOL. Come, I will teach you the ways of the force.
Gloating becomes Carl!
Me thinks the gloating has only begun.
Nothing says moola like “offshore”!
Indeed.
Sometimes I work like that too, P.J. 😉
I really don’t like doing that, but sometimes greatness comes out of 11th hour work.
This is what happens when you let a snake manage your money…
i’m starting to see the benefits now.
Duffy has more money than it’s safe for him to know about!
Good job Carl! 😀
Well Carl bragged up his money-management skills. Guess he was right.
Some people (or bears) have off shore accounts…my bank account is all washed up.
LOL. Now that’s comedy.
