Vintage Felony
Years ago, I had bought an Opus stuffed figure. They were expensive at the time and there were three sizes if I remember. I bought the smallest one. Few years ago during a cleaning binge, I tossed it into the Goodwill pile and off it went.
Heavy, searing regret.
Ebay has one for $12.99. I will purchase the stuff version, not the actual living Opus, and squelch that burning regret.
Great cameo concept!
I think he’s an unwilling cameo. Either way, I’m sure Berke is drawing up legal papers as we speak.
I’m just glad he didn’t set up a safari for Hobbes!
Yow! True. Things could get awkward.
I was always a “Bill the Cat” kinda guy!
He does have his certain… charm.
I’ve never heard of Opus. Maybe it’s actuallt Bruce & Duffy is helping him to learn to fly
Seriously? Never heard of Opus? Bloom County… flightless waterfowl. He’s a classic.
OK just Googled Bloom County & have now read a heap of the strips on Go Comics. They are great. Still never heard of it here in Tasmania or on the Australian mainland before
That is interesting. Granted they were popular back in the early to mid 80’s. That doesn’t help either. Check them out for sure. They were the “strip” before Calvin and Hobbes hit the scene.
Opus has gone for cheap!
I have 3 of those little stuffed Opus toys, definitely go buy one, unless Duffy brings the real one over . . . then you don’t need it. 😉
Yep. Got my eye on a very clean one. Exactly like the one I gave away.
It was a steal if he can also do dishes! 😀
Only if there’s pickled herring.
HA! That’s why I’m afraid of decluttering! I know I must do it but I think to myself, what if I need this item in the future? A hoarder’s thoughts maybe.
Definitely. I find the minute I toss something, I need it the next day.
I own quite a few Bloom County books!
I do too. Original ones purchase back in day. They now serve as “reference material.”
I still have my Opus… and a Pavlov the Dog too 😀 😀
Pavlov the dog. Not familiar with this guy. I’ll have to check it out.
