It was a challenge to drive over there and took every ounce of mental energy to remind yourself to drive on the left hand side of the road

Scotland has these road in the Highland region called single pass roads. They are roads that are just wide enough for a single car to travel on. When you run head-on into car heading in the opposite direction, one of you has to pull off to the side of the road using what they call “pull-out places.” Once you or they do, then you or they will pass and you continue on your merry way.
