I don't know what's worse, not getting the opera, or not having cable. You decide.
The origins of "heartless blob"
Back before we had kids, my wife and I used to go to the movies every Sunday. We saw a lot of movies. Sometimes I was forced to watch one of those "chick-flicks" when we ran out of movies to watch. Inevitably, when exiting one of these movies my wife would ask if I liked it and I would stumble out a, "...yeah.... it was good." Then she would ask the dreaded question, "Did you cry?" What? Pffffff, Nooo. To which she would then remark, "You heartless blob." 17 years later, BAM! Comic gagline.
...and that's how it's done.

I watched most of it but couldn’t stomach the rest. My wife also. It’s just too depressing and boring.
pj day
My family talked me into watching it. When I finally watched it, I got 3/4 of the way through it and had to stop it cus we needed to leave. Never saw the end.

If it makes you feel any better, watching it made me wish I didn’t have cable!

Well done P.J.! I had no idea what the final gag was going to be. 😀

You have no idea how much relief that brings me. When I’m working in a bubble with a gag, I sometimes struggle whether anyone going to get the punchline like I do.

Neither do I. That’s why I got,rid of cable.

Getting rid of cable lessens the chance of being forced to “tear-up.”
