I forgot to mention something very important about this gag.  The line about the shaving cream was suggested by my good friend and fellow cartoonist Tony McGurk of Atomic Underpants.  In fact he had posted this line in a comment from Monday's strip and it made me laugh.  I asked if I could use it in today's strip... and he said no.  But I used it anyway. So sue me Tony....  Just kidding.  He said he'd be honored.

    Yeah I’m with Bill. And yes I’m honoured that such an awesome cartoonist used my idea.I guess Carl is lucky he doesn’t have ears. Probably doesn’t shave either. Even Carl’s fly on the pants he doesn’t wear was zipped up the snake is always in full view
