Searing Regret

Searing regret.  You can almost smell the smoke. If your confused by the witness protection thing, check out the The Cast.  Or you can review the archive here.  If you do look at the archives, yes, that is Lucy.  Apparently she had a major makeover (thank goodness). It's funny where we get our inspiration from.  I had today's strip in my head for weeks leading up to this but I was sans a 4th panel punchline.  Then, came a text from a friend and I fired back an answer to it which now appears as Lucy's response.  Duffy's final comment was a result of a fellow cartoonist who, via Twitter, made me aware there was such a thing as Amish fiction.  Yikers. Happy Monday all.
