Inspiration

I actually drew this strip Wednesday night.  I wasn't sure I was going to have time Thursday night to do it.  At the time I started the strip, the big game was in the bottom of the 9th.  I knew what I wanted to do for the strip, the problem was, it required me to know who won or lost the game.  But since I needed to get the strip started, I actually wrote two sets of dialog.  One if the Cubs won, and one if they lost. I started drawing it hoping that someone would win the game before I had to choose a dialog and add details to the strip.  Of course, as you all know, the Cubs won in the 10th, so I opted for the "win" dialog. Maybe someday, I'll bust out the "lost" dialog.
